On-Site Generation (OSG) Technology for Beverage Industry Sanitation

In beverage bottling and canning plants, Clean-in-Place (CIP) is used to clean various product lines such as syrup and water lines for a variety of reasons including flavor carryover prevention and microbial control.

CIP also eliminates organic residues like precipitated proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals and other contaminants that harbor bacteria and may lead to microbial induced corrosion (MIC).

1 Grey, 3A Black, 8A Red Dry Magnetic Particles
1 Grey, 3A Black, 8A Red Dry Magnetic Particles
Producer: Magnaflux, England

1 Grey, 3A Black and 8A Red MAGNAFLUX powders are ready to use, free flowing general purpose, dry method, colour contrast magnetic powders. These powders are used to locate surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous structures.
1 Grey is a grey or off-white colour powder, which produces sharp colour contrast indications on dark backgrounds.
3A Black is a "dustless" blue-black powder ideally suited to produce clear sharp indications on shot peened or sandblasted surfaces with light backgrounds.
8A Red is a dark red coloured iron powder which provides a strong contrast on most surfaces and coloured backgrounds.

MAGNAGLO 27B Water Suspendible Black Particles
MAGNAGLO 27B Water Suspendible Black Particles
Producer: Magnaflux, England

Magnaflux 27B is a granular powder concentrate used to prepare water based black ink for wet method magnetic particle testing. The ink is used in conjunction with suitable magnetizing equipment to locate fine surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous materials. Typical defects found include shrink cracks, welding defects, grinding cracks, quenching cracks and fatigue cracks.
Inks made from 27B give clear black indications when viewed in daylight.

MAGNAGLO 7HF Ready to use MPI Ink
MAGNAGLO 7HF Ready to use MPI Ink
Producer: Magnaflux, England

7HF is an oil based ready to use black ink for wet method magnetic particle testing.
The ink is used in conjunction with suitable magnetising equipment to locate fine surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous materials.
Typical defects found include shrink cracks, welding defects, grinding cracks, quenching cracks and fatigue cracks. 7HF gives clear black indications when viewed in daylight.

MAGNAGLO 14A, 20B, MG410, WB12 Water Suspendible Fluorescent Particles
MAGNAGLO 14A, 20B, MG410, WB12 Water Suspendible Fluorescent Particles
Producer: Magnaflux, England

Magnaglo 14A, MG410, 20B, WB12 are a powder concentrate used to prepare fluorescent ink for wet method magnetic particle testing. The ink is used in conjunction with suitable magnetizing equipment for use in high sensitivity wet method magnetic particle inspection.

MAGNAGLO 14HF, 410HF Ready to use Fluorescent MPI Ink
MAGNAGLO 14HF, 410HF Ready to use Fluorescent MPI Ink
Producer: Magnaflux, England

14HF & 410HF are oil based ready to use fluorescent inks for wet method magnetic particle testing. The inks are used in conjunction with suitable magnetising equipment and UV(A) source to locate medium / fine surface and slightly subsurface discontinuities in ferrous materials.
Typical defects found include shrink cracks, welding defects, grinding cracks, quencing cracks and fatigue cracks.
14HF is the material of choice for aerospace applications giving clear fluorescent green indications when viewed in a darkened area under UV(A) of peak wavelength 365nm. 410HF can be used in similar applications to 14HF, its enhanced fluorescent green indications and slightly larger particle size means that a totally darkened inspection area is not always required.

MAGNAGLO WA2B, WA4E Water Conditioner
MAGNAGLO WA2B, WA4E Water Conditioner
Producer: Magnaflux, England

WA-2B Water Conditioner is a white granular powder used in wet method (aqueous) magnetic particle testing to condition water prior to the addition of dry magnetic particles.
WA-4E Water Conditioner is a clear amber liquid used in wet method (aqueous) magnetic particle testing to condition water prior to the addition of dry magnetic particles.

MAGNAGLO MX/MG Carrier II
MAGNAGLO MX/MG Carrier II
Producer: Magnaflux, England

MX/MG Carrier II is an oil based carrier fluid used for the suspension of all Magnaflux and Magnaglo wet method magnetic particles.
MX/MG Carrier II has a low odour and contains special additives to mimimise background fluorescence when using fluorescent materials.

MAGNAGLO WCP-2 White Contrast Paint
MAGNAGLO WCP-2 White Contrast Paint
Producer: Magnaflux, England

WCP-2 is a ready to use, rapid drying white contrast paint used to provide a white background to enhance visible magnetic particle indications.
WCP-2 is specially formulated to produce a thin dry film giving a high opacity semi-matt finish. It is low in sulphur and halogens and contains no chlorinated hydrocarbons.
